• A few principles and a few questions: o Trust—Cannot think of flexibility without trust o Case-by-case basis o Context matters o Establishing what the risk is—what risk does it pose to the grantee? What type of risk does it pose to the organization? o It is helpful to have more information out there to increase the profile of the grantee, but this must be done on a case-by-case basis o Try to protect yourself—once you are at risk, you cannot help others. o Stop doing normal monitoring when grantees are at risk. • Was there consensus? No—it depends on who you’re working with.
