- Updates laws that reflect our current technology that relates to data protection
- Require warrant for search and restrict free access by government
- Define "journalist" to protect both professionals and citizens
- Define this not by credentials, but rather by intention (i.e. data gathering)
- Online platform for informed consent, which can be seen by everyone
- Enhanced privacy functions for online platforms in regards to information protections (i.e. is my data safe?)
- An online platform to educate users with legalese of implications of sharing footage (i.e. Vimeo upload message)
